Uke Super Powers

Uke: Every one knows ukes as being a whiny little person that the seme has to deal with, but not all of them. A few of them are actually quite different from the angst ridden youths that they are stereotyped as. The uke seems to have developed powers in order to defend themselves from rabid fan girls, and various other things that are bad for their health. While the powers vary from uke to uke, they all seem to have the same three.

Cuteness: This isn’t really a power, but it does have it’s uses. All ukes seem to be able to look extremely cute, even if they don’t want to. People seem to be draw to the uke‘s cuteness, but unfortunately, a seme sees them as molest ably cute…. As said, this isn’t a real power, so the uke has no control over it… And because of it, they have developed their second power; Rapedar.

Rapedar: Just how radar allows you to locate a object, this power allows the uke to tell when a seme (or fan girl) is after them. By a uke’s own account, it feels like a spine tingling sensation. Depending on the degree of the tingle, the uke knows if it should run away screaming bloody murder, or just keep an eye out. The closer the target gets, the harder the tingle.

Alluring Gaze: This power to is fairly straight forward, by looking into the seme's eyes, the uke will attempt to charm the seme into doing something for it. While it may seem like a fairly task, it isn’t. The uke and the seme must be fairly close to each other physically, and there is a high chance that the power could fail. And with failure comes a dark and evil prospect. The seme may see it as seducement, and may actually try to rape the uke, even if the uke wanted the seme to leave. It is a very difficult power to use, and can only be used once a day.  


Here is were I shall go into more detail about a few uke’s powers… Just a few, and they are subject to change.

Depressed Uke: These uke’s suffer, as their name suggests, from depression. Most are sad nearly 24/7, and there is very little one can do about it. Now, they’re not depressed for no reason, most have a sad past. (Not Mary-Sue!) Like; for instance, they could have been mistreated at home for most of their life, or suffer from really bad break-ups. Most are loners in their school, and shun the contact of others. Another thing that they all have in common is they like the colors blue, purple, or green. Their wardrobe consists heavily of these colors. While they don’t like being around people, people who make the effort to be friendly with them are treated with kindness by the uke. If the person can stand the uke’s somewhat negative comments, that is.

Aura:While yes, all uke’s have a aura; this uke’s seems to have the natural ability to absorb feelings, and inspire feeling of sadness in their place. As a natural feeling of the aura, it craves heat. It absorbs heat basically. Not exactly enough to harden water into ice, but strong enough to make the surrounding temperature a few degrees cooler. This aura is a opaque bluish color.

Heavy Heart: Heavy Heart is a power that the uke has that utilizes it’s aura as more of a weapon, instead of a distraction that it normally is. When using this technique, the uke’s aura goes from a pale blue outline around them, to a dark blue circle that is roughly five feet around. Anything within the aura feels “heavy-hearted.” That is to say, they feel a weight pulling down at their heart, a grief so profound that it darkens the soul. Unfortunately, the uke has no control over who it effects, so it is advised to be out of the area when they’re using this power.

*It should be noted that this power is more effective when the uke is saying, out loud, every bad thing that has ever happened to them. With out it being said aloud, the power of the aura drops.

Hallow Heart: This power too, uses the aura as a weapon. Instead of using it as some area effecting attack, they compact their  aura, hardening it into a physical manifestation of their energy. This ability acts like conjuration or summoning, as the aura will shape itself into some manner of creature. (For instance, a cat shaped one, a dog, it depends on the uke’s wants.) The life force that animates the aura beast is a particularly bad memory that the uke has. To put it simply: the aura becomes the body, the memory becomes the heart. A uke can not simply use this power again and a again, and when they use a memory, they lose that particular memory for a few days.

*It should be noted that they can have only three out at a time, or at least, one really large on. Large ones have been known to act as transport; but they can’t mimic cars, more like a giant animal of some kind. It should also be known that the more depressing the memory, the longer the creature lasts.*

Emo Uke: This uke is similar to the Depressed Uke, in reference that they are generally unhappy. But as the Depressed Uke is unhappy, this uke is also dark, and vengeful. They are characterized by their unusually pale skin, dark clothing, and an odd fixation for stripes. The real reason why they are emo is unknown, but there are a few that have Depressed Uke powers, suggesting that the Emo Uke is a advanced form of them. Most of them are also good writers, and have very good(?) poetry…. Just be prepared for a lot of references to bleeding… A common area to see them is the mall, where they gather in huge numbers. You would think that they would avoid places with a lot of people, but they instead seem to be drawn to them. No one yet, knows why exactly. It is theorized that there is a small amount of normal feelings in the darkness, one that wants to seek light, and people. And the mall seems like a perfect place for them….

Depressed Aura: Only the ones that have been depressed uke’s have this power, and is very similar to it. But there is two minor dereferences; the aura is darker, in some cases, near black. The other thing that separate it is that it absorbs all feelings, leaving only emptiness in it’s place, not feeling’s of depression.

Empty Life: This is one of their most feared powers, Emomancy. Like how necromancers can make undead and then control them, a emomancer can make other people emo, and control them. It is a very difficult and long process, and can’t be done instantly. It involves them reading to their intended victim from their poetry. By chanting it, they absorb all feelings, all life, from the victim, leaving nothing but a cold and lifeless husk in it’s place. The new emo is not undead, just has no emotion. They know no pain, no fear, nothing… Just empty. While they still wear the same clothes that they did in their life, they are now… Darker… It is unknown how exactly their clothes change.

*Ones that have a depressed aura are much better at using this power than other’s who can’t.*

Dark Hole: This power is one of the most feared, perhaps even more than Empty Life. This is also one of the most hardest powers for them to master. By focusing all of their feelings, all of their aura into the palm of their hand, they create a pitch black orb. It is very similar to a black hole, in reference that it absorbs everything, absorbing light and matter. Anything that get’s sucked into it, has never come out. It is speculated that the hole opens up some portal to another dimension, when the object float about in limbo… But that mere speculation, and hasn’t been proven. The uke has no control over what it sucks up, and is capable of sucking in teammates. It is also capable of becoming self-sustaining, and requires constant care to make sure it doesn’t become out of control. The only one who seems to be immune to the Dark Hole is the original uke who made it.

Clingy Uke: This uke, if possible, could be considered the exact opposite of the Depressed Uke. While the Depressed Uke is cynically pessimistic, this uke is annoyingly optimistic, sometimes to the point that you want to hit them with something heavy. Even their favorite colors are annoying, they favor light colors, like baby blue and the like. Usually, they are very small, just few inches beneath the normal height, not munchkin sized. They too favor stripes. It is known to never, EVER, stick them in a room with a Depressed Uke, as they will immediately start yelling and fighting, about anything. Most have a warm hair color, like red, or have shiny hair, like a rich brown. Most also have a child like personality, and can get very hyper with sugar. Most are also attention seekers, liking people to notice them over others. They have a hard time making friends.

Cuteness: While with the other ukes this isn’t a power, with these ukes it is. Their aura basically enhances their cuteness, to ridiculous levels. Their aura is usually a light pinkish color. Everything that they do is considered cute, and they use this power to be the center of attention… Just the way they like it. It is very strong, and most people find it very difficult to resist the cuteness. Even people who don’t usually show they’re feelings are tempted to go up and glomp them. They use this to distract others, and if used enough on a person, it can create a servant, one that does what ever the uke commands. They aren’t brainless, they can still think… But it’s like the uke is now that persons reason for living… However, it takes years for this to happen…. The only cure is to separate the servant from the uke for at least three weeks. During that time, they slowly regain they’re sense of identity. However, there is a small chance that they will go mad, and desperately try to get back to the uke…

Death Hug: By using their aura to increase their strength, the uke temporarily gains super strength, and hugs the closes thing, crushing it into ity-bity little bits. Or breaking bones... Depends on if it's living or not. The only way to really block this attack, is to dodge the uke.

Happy Heart: This power is probably the most annoying to use on the opponent. Basically, the uke hardens and compacts their aura into oddly shaped balls of energy, and they fill it with a happy memory. (They look oddly like hearts… Really cheesy.) They then throw the heart at the intended target, and how the Depressed Uke's arua causes depression, this one causes happiness. They only person that seems to be immune to the happy effect is the Emo Uke. Wherever the Heart lands on the Emo Uke, a painful heart shaped scar appeard, where usually in sinks into the person, dispersing the happiness in them.
